The Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP) Oklahoma City Coalition invites you to attend the FREE inaugural Healthy Heart Summit.

The Healthy Heart Summit is an annual event held in the Fall of each year around National Seafood Month to promote the benefits of eating heart healthy.

This half day program will bring leaders from business, healthcare, and community together to discuss the importance of a heart healthy diet for the local community, provide user-friendly resources to encourage healthy dietary habits, and identify action items to support the heart health goals of the community.

The USDA/HHS Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend at least two servings of seafood per week and at least 250mg of omega-3s EPA+DHA per day to support heart and brain health as part of a healthy diet. Only 10% of Americans eat seafood twice a week and on average Americans take in 80mg of omega-3s EPA+DHA per day.

  • No, there will be a registration table with a list of guests who RSVP on Eventbrite.

Attendees can pull a ticket at the entry gate and validate out of the parking lot

  • Yes, guests will enjoy a seafood cooking demo along with a casual buffet-style lunch.

What is the dress code?

  • Professional casual. Guests will be coming from work and will be dressed accordingly.
